Martina Kömpel

Martina Kömpel (* 1967 in Krefeld ) is a German cook .

Life

After graduating from high school, Kömpel first completed an apprenticeship as a tailor and then studied theater studies, ethnology and psychology. In 2007, she joined the first German to a master class at the Paris cooking school Ecole Superiore de Cuisine Française Ferrandi with graduate successfully. Today she works at the Ritz in Paris and is active in her Café Knusperfee at the Paris Goethe-Institut. She also runs the company of the same name, which exclusively sells gingerbread houses. Kömpel became known through the WDR cooking show Ran an den Herd , Lanz kocht! , Die Küchenschlacht as well as the WDR series Meisterküche and ARD Buffet .

Kömpel lives in Paris.
