Workers' apartment

De Spitkeet is an open-air museum in Harkema in the Dutch province of Friesland . It shows how people used to live in the area around Harkema, the Frisian forests.

The house Jelle Damhuis is one of the last two were of 22 workers' houses from 1912. As these houses demolished at the end of the 1980s, the last building as a museum remained. In the neighborhood there has been an earth hut ( plaggenhut ) on the poor cemetery since 1964 .
