Martina Schwonke

Martina Schwonke (born March 13, 1962 in Göttingen ) is a German lawyer with a doctorate and a judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Life

After completing her legal training, Ms. Schwonke initially worked as a lawyer for around three years. At the beginning of 1994 she entered the higher judicial service of the state of Brandenburg. During her trial reporting period, she was employed at the Potsdam Regional Court and the Königs Wusterhausen District Court . At the end of 1996 she was appointed judge at the Potsdam Regional Court and in August 1999 she was promoted to Judge at the Brandenburg Higher Regional Court . In addition to her legal work in a civil senate, she also worked there as press spokeswoman since 2007. Since the beginning of 2012 she was also a member of the Brandenburg Service Court for Judges. Since her appointment as judge at the Federal Court of Justice, which took effect on March 3, 2014, she has been assigned to the First Civil Senate , which is primarily responsible for competition, trademark and copyright law as well as transport law .
