Martinianus
Mar (cius?) Martinianus († 325 ) was appointed co-emperor ( Augustus ) by the Roman emperor Licinius in 324 .
Martinianus initially held the office of magister officiorum and was appointed co-regent by Licinius after his defeat in the Battle of Adrianople on July 3, 324. Martinianus was supposed to stop the advance of Licinius' opponent Konstantin at Lampsakos . After the final defeat by Constantine in the battle of Chrysopolis on September 18, 324, Licinius and Martinianus were imprisoned separately, the former in Thessalonica , the latter in Cappadocia, Asia Minor . 325 were both executed.
