The Protestant Martinskapelle is located in the north of the city of Saalfeld (Saale) in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia .

history

The early Gothic chapel of the former Siechenhospital Saalfeld was most likely built around 1264, making it the oldest building in the city. It was first mentioned in a document in 1335. The equipment is in the City Museum in the Franciscan - monastery kept.
