Marvin Pierce Bush (born October 22, 1956 in Midland, Texas ) is an American businessman.

Life and work

Marvin Bush, named after his maternal grandfather, was born in 1956 to the future US President George HW Bush and his wife Barbara . His siblings include politicians George W. Bush and Jeb Bush .

After graduating from Woodberry Forest School in 1975 and attending the University of Virginia , Bush worked as a businessman. Among other things, he sat on the board of directors of the Virginia- based security company Stratesec from 1993 to 2000 , of which he held up to 53,000 shares in the 1990s, which he originally bought at a price of US $ 0.52 per share and which he bought in 1997 was able to sell at a price of US $ 8.50. During Bush's time on the board of directors, Stratesec was tasked with implementing security measures for the airline United Airlines and Dulles International Airport , as well as, after the terrorist attacks of 1993, for the World Trade Center in New York City.

Bush currently works as a manager for Winston Capital Management , a company he co-founded .

Bush and his wife Margaret have two adopted children, Marshall Bush and Walker Bush.
