Mary Hooper (writer, 1948)

Mary Hooper (* 1948 in Barnes ) is a British author for children and young people.

Life

She is a trained window dresser and studied English at Reading University from 1990 onwards. Hooper has authored over thirty books for children and young people. In 2001 she received the North East Book Award for her youth book Megan ( ISBN 9780747563914 ) . She lives in Henley-on-Thames .
