Mary of Lancaster
Mary of Lancaster , also Mary Plantagenet or Mary de Percy (* around 1320 at Tutbury Castle , † September 1, 1362 ) was an English noblewoman.
Mary of Lancaster came from a branch of the English ruling house Plantagenet . She was the youngest daughter of Henry Plantagenet and Maud de Chaworth . Her mother died around 1322 and her father was made Earl of Leicester in 1324 as the heir of his brother . From 1327 he carried the title Earl of Lancaster . It is believed that in September 1334 Mary married Henry Percy , the eldest son of Henry Percy, 2nd Baron Percy and Idoine de Clifford, at Tutbury Castle . In 1352 her husband inherited his father's estates and the title of Baron Percy .
She had at least two children from her marriage:
- Henry Percy (1341-1408)
 - Thomas Percy (1343-1403)
 
She was buried at Alnwick Abbey in Northumberland . After her death, her husband married Joan de Orreby for the second time .
