Masaki Sakamoto ( Japanese 阪 本 将 基 Sakamoto Masaki ; born June 24, 1996 in Akashi ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Sakamoto learned to play football in the youth team of Cerezo Osaka . He signed his first contract with Cerezo Osaka in 2014. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2014 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . At the end of the 2016 season, the club rose again to the J1 League. In 2018 he moved to third division club Kagoshima United FC . In 2018 he was runner-up in the J3 League with the club and was promoted to the J2 League. In September 2019 he was loaned to FC Maruyasu Okazaki . After the loan, he was firmly signed by Okazaki.
