Masayuki Suzuki

Masayuki Suzuki ( Japanese鈴木 雅 之, Suzuki Masayuki ; born September 22, 1956 in Ōta , Tokyo ) is a Japanese singer, best known as a member of the band Rats & Star . His trademarks are sunglasses and a mustache .

Life

Masayuki founded the band "Channels" in 1975, later Rats & Star , and in 1980 released the debut single Runaway with her . In 2004 he sang Japan's national anthem Kimi Ga Yo at the F1 Japanese Grand Prix on the Suzuka International Racing Course . In 2006 he founded the Gosperats ( Gospellers + Rats & Star) together with Kuwano , Yoshio Sato , Tetsuya Murakami and Yuji Sakai .
