As machine interface ( English buzz cut ) is any type of haircut described exclusively with electrical or manual hair clippers is cut. Usually all hair on the head is cut to the same length, the length being variable. However, it is also possible to cut the sides shorter than the top hair. A machine cut can make facial features appear more defined.

In many countries, recruits are machine cut when they join the military . Initially it was used to prevent the spread of lice, but nowadays it was used for uniformity and ease of care. This is where the term induction cut, sometimes used in English-speaking countries, comes from ( induction here means acceptance into the military).

Fashion

The machine cut is popular with men and boys who prefer a short, easy-care haircut. This look is also popular with models . Machine cutting came into fashion in the 1980s and early 1990s as a form of cut outside of the military.
