The Massif du Panié is the name of a mountain range on the east coast of the main island of Grande Terre in New Caledonia . The highest peak is the Mont Panié at 1629 meters. Other peaks are Mont Colnett ( 20 ° 31 '  S , 164 ° 42'  O ) is 1512 meters, Mont Ignambi ( 20 ° 28 '  S , 164 ° 36'  O ) to 1323 meters and the Peja ( 20 ° 33 '  S , 164 ° 38 ′  E ) at 1124 meters.

The Andamé and Temélé rivers have their source in the Massif du Panié and flow together on the west side of the mountains to form the Diahot River, which flows to the northwest . On the other hand, the river Ouaième flows to the southeast, which flows around the mountains to the south and flows into the sea after just a few kilometers. On the east side of the Massif du Panié the mountains reach close to the coast, there are a number of waterfalls.
