Massimo Bray

Massimo Bray (born April 11, 1959 in Lecce ) is an Italian cultural manager , politician and former Italian minister of culture .

Bray studied at the University of Florence and in 1991 became editor of modern history at the Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana .

In the 2013 parliamentary elections for the 17th legislative period, Bray entered the Italian Chamber of Deputies as a candidate for the Democratic Party (PD) . From April 28, 2013 to February 22, 2014, he was the successor to Lorenzo Ornaghi in the Letta cabinet, Minister for Cultural Goods and Activities . He was followed in office by Dario Franceschini .
