Materialization

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Materialization is a term u. a. from parapsychology . This means the appearance of human figures through ectoplasm that is supposed to emerge from a medium under trance.

It should only take the form of body parts, such as hand or foot, but complete materializations have also been reported. Through materialization, the spirit should take shape in “our world” and be made visible to us.

The term also describes the ability of spiritual teachers to make objects appear.
