Material ropeway Lukovac
The 14 km long Lukovac material ropeway in Lukavac , Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the longest in Europe .
Built in 1956, it was used to transport lime from the Jaruške Gornje quarry ⊙ to the Lukovac ⊙ soda and cement works ⊙ .
Their conveying capacity is 150 tons per hour. It crosses the Modračko jezero reservoir , in which some supports have been built. The track ropes have a diameter of 29 mm, the suspension ropes 28 mm.
