Matthias Ernst Kamp

Matthias Ernst Kamp , also Mathias , (* May 23, 1909 , † 1983 ) was a German economist and finance scientist.

Life

Kamp studied from 1929 at the University of Bonn , where he received his doctorate from Arthur Spiethoff in 1937 with a thesis on the theory of money exchanges and completed his habilitation in 1941. After the end of the Second World War, he was appointed to the Bonn Chair for Economic Political Science in 1949 or 1950, which he held until his retirement.

Kamp was a member of the NSDAP from 1933 to 1945.
