Matsushita Shin'ichi

Matsushita Shin'ichi ( Japanese 松下 眞 一 or 松下 真 一 ; * October 1, 1922 in Ibaraki , Osaka Prefecture ; † December 25, 1990 ) was a Japanese composer and mathematician.

Matsushita studied mathematics at Kyūshū University and also privately music. In 1958 he became an employee of the electronic studio in Osaka, later he was also a professor of mathematics and an employee of the Faculty of Music at Osaka City University .

He preferably composed works for chamber music , in which he often used electronic instruments or tapes.
