Matt King (born August 17, 1988 in Toowoomba , Australia ) is a retired Australian cyclist .

In 2006, Matt King came second overall at the junior run of the Lower Saxony Tour . The next year he won the second stage of the Thuringia Tour and the Tour of Gippsland.

In 2008, King drove for the Australian Continental Team Southaustralia.com-AIS . At the national championship in Ballarat , he won the U23 class time trial and finished second in the road race behind his teammate Simon Clarke .
