Matthias Grossmann (* 1964 in Aschaffenburg ) is a German purchasing trainer, management consultant and author .

biography

After studying business administration, Grossmann began working in purchasing at General Motors Europe in Spain . There he worked for the well-known purchasing manager Ignacio López . He then worked as a buyer and purchasing manager in companies in the automotive supplier industry and in trade.

The MGS -Training and Consulting for Purchasing , which he founded in 1996, specializes in the advanced training of buyers. Topics are the methods of price and cost reduction as well as the conduct of negotiations with suppliers.

He is the author of several books, audio books and DVDs. Matthias Grossmann published articles in industry magazines such as the buyer in the market . Some of his books have been published as audio books. Among other things, he gave a lecture in 2010 at the motivation day organized by Jürgen Höller , and in 2012 at the spring college days.
