Matthias Küsters
Johann Matthias Küsters (born December 28, 1856 in Balberg ; † July 2, 1936 there ) was a German squire and politician ( German Center Party ).
Life
Küsters was district deputy for the Moers district . From 1919 to 1921 he was a member of the Prussian state assembly and from 1921 to 1924 a member of the Prussian state parliament . He was a member of various local agricultural organizations. Küsters lived on Gut Santfurt with his wife Helene Margarete, née Scholten († May 28, 1883), and their eight children.
Awards
- Royal Order of the Crown (1909)
- Honorary citizen of the community of Labbeck (1927) because of "his services to the closer and wider homeland"
- Holder of the honorary title " Economics Council "
