Matthias Schmidt-Ohlemann

Matthias Schmidt-Ohlemann (* 1951 in Münster ) is a German orthopedic doctor .

Live and act

Schmidt-Ohlemann studied medicine and sociology. In 1983 he received his doctorate . It completed its training as a specialist in orthopedics in Schwerte, Bad Homburg and Frankfurt. Since 1987 he has headed the Bethesda Rehabilitation Center of the Kreuznacher Diakonie . He is also the state doctor for the physically handicapped in Rhineland-Palatinate and has been chairman of the German Association for Rehabilitation since 2008 .

In December 2013, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his services .
