Matthias Schwarte
Matthias Schwarte (* 1968 in Lingen ) is a German business graduate and has been Chancellor of the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster since March 2012 .
Life
Matthias Schwarte studied business administration at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg from 1989 to 1995 . From 2000 to 2002 he was Public Sector Management Principal Consultant at PwC Consulting GmbH in Düsseldorf and from 2002 to 2009 Public Financial Management Associate Partner at IBM Deutschland GmbH, also in Düsseldorf. In 2009 he moved to the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, where he initially worked as the department head for finances and controlling. In 2010 he was also appointed Deputy Chancellor. In March 2012 he took over the office of Chancellor of the University of Münster as successor to Stefan Schwartze .
