Matuʻanua is a small uninhabited island in the Tongan archipelago of Vavaʻu .

geography

Matu'anua is the only tiny island off the north coast of Vava'u. It is located off the coast of Holonga and as an extension of 'Utula'aina Point on the western edge of Likuone Bay .

climate

The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Vavaʻu group, Matuʻanua is occasionally hit by cyclones .
