Maturitné oznámenie ([ maturitneː oznaːmeni̯ε ] or Maturitné oznamko [ maturitneː oznamko ], German literally Matura notification , short Oznamko ) is a written message made of paper with text and photo from students of secondary schools and high schools in Slovakia who are taking their Matura .

shape

It is made in the form of small cards with the class name, the name of the school and a list of students along with the headmaster and class teacher and a place for a photo and a motto. There are many different designs and shapes to choose from, depending on the manufacturer. The companies often have their own graphic designers who communicate with the students, and sometimes their own photographers to take photos for the announcements.

The classes in secondary schools and high schools order or create their own maturity notifications in good time before the Stužková slávnosť (ribbon festival ) so that they can submit them in good time together with a glued photo and, if necessary, a dedication for family, friends, acquaintances or teachers. The notification should inform about the entry of the student concerned into adulthood and inform him himself about his upcoming stužková slávnosť.
