Maud Burnell (* before 1294, † after 1323) was an English noblewoman.

Maud Burnell was a daughter of Sir Philip Burnell and his wife Maud FitzAlan. Her father died in 1294. Her first marriage was to John Lovel, 2nd Baron Lovel . Lovell died before 1315. After her brother Edward Burnell, 1st Baron Burnell died childless in 1315, she inherited his extensive property. However, the family seat of Acton Burnell Castle and goods other than Wittum remained in the possession of Edwards Burnell's widow Aline le Despenser, who did not die until 1363. After the death of her first husband, Maud married John de Haudlo (also Handlo ) († 1346) in 1315 .

There were no surviving children from their first marriage or the marriage had remained childless. From her second marriage she had at least two sons:

While her older son Edmund became her husband's heir, her younger son Nicholas inherited the property of the Burnell family.
