Maureen Wright
Maureen Wright ( Maureen Faye Wright; born October 20, 1939 ) is a former Australian javelin thrower .
In 1956 she was eliminated from qualifying at the Olympic Games in Melbourne .
At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth in 1962 , she was fourth with her personal best of 47.36 m.
In the same year she became Australian champion.
