Mauri Kunnas
Mauri Tapio Kunnas (born February 11, 1950 in Vammala ) is a Finnish draftsman and illustrator.
Life
After six years of study, he began his career at the Institute Industrial Arts in Helsinki with caricatures and small comics . He drew a. a. for the daily newspapers "Turun Sanomat" (newspaper in Turku) and "Helsingin Sanomat" (newspaper in Helsinki). In 1979 his first children's book was published with the title "Suomalainen tonttukirja". Today he and his wife Tarja draw the popular picture books that are loved for their humor .
