Maurice Ewing Medal (SEG)
The Maurice Ewing Medal is the highest award from the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) for special achievements in the field of applied geophysics (geophysical exploration, exploration geophysics). It is associated with the honorary membership of the society, is named after Maurice Ewing and has been awarded annually or at longer intervals since 1978.
There is also a Maurice Ewing Medal (AGU) .
