Veit Froer

Veit Froer (born July 1, 1828 in Nuremberg ; † 1900 ) was a German copper and steel engraver and eraser .

Froer attended the art school in Nuremberg and was a student of the engraver Heinrich Ludwig Petersen . He then continued his education with Dertinger in Stuttgart and with Sichling in Leipzig. He himself trained the painter and etcher Wilhelm Woernle in Stuttgart .

In 1868 Froer was a member of the General German Art Cooperative .
