Goethe Gallery

Goethe-Galerie is the name of a book published in 1864 with the subtitle Characters from Goethe's Works . It contains 50 steel engravings on characters from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's dramas , which were engraved by various steel engravers based on models by the painters Friedrich Pecht and Arthur von Ramberg . The explanations wrote Friedrich Pecht. The book was published by Friedrich Arnold Brockhaus in Leipzig .
