Conrad Geyer (born August 15, 1816 in Nuremberg , † November 4, 1893 in Munich ) was a German artist and copper and steel engraver .

Life

Conrad Geyer initially trained under the Nuremberg painter and illustrator Peter Carl Geissler and under Albert Christoph Reindel at the trade school in Nuremberg , and later in Leipzig under Neher and Jäger . In 1851 Geyer settled in Munich and created a large part of his works there.
