Maurice de Londres († 1166 ) was an Anglo-Norman nobleman. He was the son of William de Londres , one of the legendary twelve knights of Glamorgan , and his wife Matilda.

While his father was still alive, he took over the rule of Ogmore, where he built the stone keep of Ogmore Castle around 1126 , at the latest after his father's death he inherited the rule of Oystermouth on Gower as well as his father's other estates. During the Welsh uprising after the death of King Henry I , he countered the defeat of the Anglo-Normans at the Battle of Loughor. He defeated in 1136 at Kidwelly Castle together with Geoffrey, the constable of the castle, a Welsh force under the leadership of Gwenllian , the wife of Prince Gruffydd ap Rhys of Deheubarth . The Welsh suffered a crushing defeat, after the battle Maurice had the captured Gwenllian executed as a rebel.

Before 1139 he took over Kidwelly Castle and the reign of Kidwelly from Roger von Salisbury , making him an independent lord of the Welsh Marches . He donated the Church of St Peter of Gloucester at Oystermouth Castle . In 1141 he renewed the foundation of the priory of Ewenny, in whose church there is also his magnificent tomb. Probably around 1159 he lost the rule of Kidwelly to Rhys ap Gruffydd , the Welsh prince of Deheubarth.

With his wife Adeliza he had two sons, William and Thomas.
