William de Londres († 1131 ) was an Anglo-Norman nobleman. He was one of the legendary Twelve Knights of Glamorgan , with whose help Robert Fitzhamon conquered the Welsh kingdom of Morgannwg towards the end of the 11th century . From Robert Fitzhamon he received Ogmore as a fief, where he built Ogmore Castle and Dunraven Manor . After 1106 he assisted Henry de Beaumont in the conquest of Gower , where he built Oystermouth Castle . During the rebellion of Gruffydd ap Rhys in 1116 he fled with his cattle and property from Ogmore Castle, in the rebellion Oystermouth Castle was destroyed. After the end of the rebellion he returned to his lands and before 1126 founded the priory of Ewenny near Bridgend as a subsidiary of St. Peter of Gloucester Abbey .

He was married to Matilda, his son Maurice became his heir .
