Mauricio Ojeda (* in Viña del Mar , Chile ) is a contemporary painter.

life and work

The Chilean painter Mauricio Ojeda was born in Viña del Mar, Chile, and received the technical parts of his training there. From 1981 to 1982 he attended the University of Fine Arts in his place of birth, before moving to the University of Fine Arts in neighboring Valparaíso in 1983 , where he remained until he completed his training in 1986. After his time in Valparaíso, Mauricio Ojeda established himself through various exhibitions in and outside of Chile. B. by participating in the " Dubai Art Symposium" as a contemporary artist in Chile. Mauricio Ojeda currently lives in his hometown Viña del Mar.

His works are somewhere between the abstract and the figurative, whereby he prefers to paint oil on canvas. Thematically, there are more and more motifs from his hometown.
