Mauritius Ribbele
Mauritius Ribbele (* around 1730 in Wolfert ; † November 16, 1801 in St. Blasien ) was abbot of the St. Blasien monastery in the Black Forest from 1793 to 1801 and provost in the Klingnau provost from 1799 to 1801 .
Mauritius Ribbele came from a Brabant family. He entered the monastery of St. Blasien on November 13, 1759 and was ordained a priest on September 24, 1764. Victor Keller wrote the funeral speech for him.
