Wolfert is a district of the municipality of Hellenthal in the district of Euskirchen , North Rhine-Westphalia .

The place was previously divided into Oberwolfert and Unterwolfert.

location

The district is located in the Eifel National Park, southeast of Hellenthal and south of Reifferscheid . Landesstraße 17 runs on the northern edge of the village . The Wolferter Bach flows on the western outskirts and the Tiefenbach on the east .

The connection to other places is ensured by the line taxi 838 of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg .

history

The parish church of St. Giles is in the village . On December 3, 1995 Wolfert became its own parish . A fire station was built in 1976 and the first kindergarten was opened in 1977 . In 1987 the cemetery chapel was added, and on August 15, 1988 the second kindergarten was opened.
