Oberpreth is a district of the municipality Hellenthal in the district of Euskirchen , North Rhine-Westphalia .

The district is located southwest of Hellenthal in a valley above the center of Hellenthal towards Ramscheid / Hollerath . Local roads lead through and to the village . The Prether Bach flows through the village , into which the Ramsbach flows north of the village .

Artelsberg is located south of the village . The Oberprether mill is on the northern outskirts .
