The district is located southeast of Hellenthal on Kreisstrasse 61 . Linden to the west and Kreuzberg to the east .

history

Unterschömbach originally belonged to the municipality of Wahlen . On July 1, 1969 elections were incorporated into Kall. On January 1, 1972, Unterschömbach was reclassified to Hellenthal along with other localities that used to belong to the municipality of Wahlen.
