Mauritz Karl Theodor Maria Freiherr von der Horst zu Cappeln (* 1716 , † 1794 ) was canon in Münster and Paderborn .

Life

Mauritz Karl Theodor Maria Freiherr von der Horst zu Cappeln was the son of Lieutenant General Maximilian Ferdinand Anton von der Horst and his wife Anna Sophia Wilhelmine von Lüninck . In 1737 Karl Mauritz received by papal encouragement a Dompräbende in Munster and Electoral commission a Paderborn stipend. Mauritz Karl renounced the two prebends in 1746 and married Sophia Theresia von Boeselager .
