The Henckel-Donnersmarck mausoleum is located on a hill east of the city of Wolfsberg and south of the castle . The historicist building was built from 1858 to 1892 according to plans by Friedrich August Stüler . The mausoleum is an eight-sided, square-clad central building. The dome is surrounded by a dwarf gallery with arched arcades and a very flat tent roof. A three-axis pillar portico with a triangular gable and a three-axis and two- bay vestibule is attached to the front . The pillars of the portico have composite capitals . From the vestibule an exit leads to the crypt and a double staircase to the side leads to the chapel. The chapel is an octagon with wall arcades over columns set in the corners and openings divided by columns in the main axes. An umbrella dome with round windows in the arched shields rises above double cornices. The center of the chapel is the tomb of Laura Henckel-Donnersmarck, who died in 1857, with the reclining figure created by August Kiss in 1862 . Mourning angels are depicted on the base. Next to it is a children's grave with a relief medallion. The altar, the prayer benches and the wrought iron bars date from the construction period.
