Max Behrens

Max August Heinrich Casper Behrens (born February 9, 1886 in Hamburg ; † September 1, 1967 there ) was an Altona senator, union leader and social democrat . From May 1926 to December 1927 he was an unpaid senator of the Altona magistrate. Behrens was appointed to the Appointed Hamburg Citizenship in 1946 and joined the union faction.

On August 14, 1907, he married Luise Marie Wilhelmine Dorothea Keul.

In 1907 both joined the Social Democratic Party (with the required minimum age of 21).

In 1914 he was drafted and until the end of the First World War in 1918 he was a soldier at the front in France (including Verdun and Duomont) and returned to Hamburg in 1918 from captivity.
