Max Bollwage
Max Bollwage (born October 16, 1927 in Offenburg ) is a German graphic designer, typesetter, calligrapher , stamp artist , teacher and author.
Life
After graduating from high school and studying, he worked in Hildesheim, Hanover, Wiesbaden and Berlin as a studio manager and art director in advertising agencies, a pharmaceutical company and as a designer in book and magazine publishers. He was also active as a stamp artist. From 1973 he ran a design office in Stuttgart. Bollwage was a lecturer at technical colleges and gave lectures and guest lectures.
