Max Calandri

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Max Calandri (actually Massimo Calandri , born October 29, 1906 in Turin , † after 1956) was an Italian filmmaker.

Life

Calandri appeared especially in the years of the Second World War in various functions in successful feature films; so he worked as an assistant director and screenwriter , but mainly as a production manager for some films, including productions of the short-lived Republic of Salo . This also seems to be the reason for the largely unknown Calandris today.

Most of his post-war work is now completely forgotten; he filmed several of his scripts as a director ; he only worked three times as a producer.

The date of his death cannot be determined.
