Max Conze

Maximilian Conze (* 1969 in Bielefeld ) is a German manager and former CEO (CEO) of Dyson and ProSiebenSat.1 Media .

biography

Max Conze was born in Bielefeld in 1969. He studied economics at Columbus State University (Abbott Turner School of Business) in Georgia and was a paratrooper for a short time as a lieutenant in the German armed forces .

Between 1993 and 2010 Conze held various management and marketing positions at Procter & Gamble in Europe, the United States and China. In his last three years he was responsible for the beauty & grooming business in German-speaking countries and the development of new beauty categories.

From 2011 to 2017 Conze headed the British company Dyson as CEO. Under his leadership, numerous new business areas were pushed, with Dyson's sales tripling during his tenure. At the same time, the company expanded from 2,500 to 10,000 employees and expanded to 70 countries.

On June 1, 2018, Conze took up the position of CEO at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE . Due to several farewells by high-ranking ProSiebenSat.1 managers as well as the negative criticism from Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board Conrad Albert about Conze's working methods in a South German interview, he had to leave the company with immediate effect on March 26, 2020. Albert in turn left the company on April 30, 2020.

Conze is the father of two daughters. In his spare time he likes to ski or ride a horse.
