Max Jensen (* 1860 in Berlin ) was a German marine painter , active from 1877 to 1908.

Jensen studied at the Berlin Academy of Arts , after which he continued his studies at the Academy of Arts in Düsseldorf . He exhibited his landscape paintings at exhibitions in Germany , Denmark and Holland . Max Jensen lived in Berlin , but spent a lot of time on the North Sea and Baltic Sea coasts, where his maritime motifs were created with often thundering sea waves and stormy cloud landscapes.
