Max Schad (* 1983 ) is a German politician from the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Since the state election in 2018, he has been a member of the Hessian state parliament .

Life

Max Schad passed his Abitur in 2003 at the Kopernikus School in Freigericht. From 2003 to the 2008/2009 semester, he studied political science, public law and sociology at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen and at the University of Leicester . After completing his master's degree, Schad worked as an office manager / research assistant in the German Bundestag from 2009 to 2018 . His main thematic focus in recent years has been on health and social policy. Schad is married and lives with his wife in Großkrotzenburg . There he is an active singer in the local church choir.

He has been a member of the CDU and the Junge Union since 2005 . Schad was a member of the Federal Board of Directors of the Junge Union from 2012 to 2018, where he was responsible for the topics of care and health, among other things. In Großkrotzenburg, he has been chairman of the CDU parliamentary group since 2016. Before that, he was chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in Erlensee for several years. Max Schad has been a member of the district council in the Main-Kinzig district since 2014. There he is a. a. In the state elections in 2018, he ran as a direct candidate for the CDU in the Main-Kinzig I constituency . Schad moved into the Hessian state parliament as a directly elected member.
