Max van der Rose is a German composer , musician , music producer and painter .

Life

He lives in his native Berlin and works as an impresario , composer , musician , musical director and producer in the studio and on stages for culture, media and business. His work has been performed and broadcast in 18 countries so far.

A first highlight in 1995 was the conception and implementation of the dance of elements event series on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Federal Horticultural Show in the Britzer Garden in Berlin . In 18 full-day events with more than 60 musicians, he created living sound images on the subject of the four elements - fire, water, earth, air. He founded the Drum Connection .

As the beginning of work outside of the musical and cultural mainstream, the collaboration and production of an album by the Mongolian artist Saraa followed as a further highlight .

Since 2003 he has been the composer and musical director of the rhythm, drum & dance show, which has already given guest performances in 13 European countries.

He is politically active through regular participation in the Carnival of Cultures , the largest cultural event in Berlin . Since then he has been producing and publishing the regular CDs on his label cues recording together with the Werkstatt der Kulturen .

For his artistic and cultural commitment "... as an artist with a sense of mission ", he was named Knight of the Culture of Hungary in 2003 . The ceremony with awarding and accolade took place in Stefania Castle in Budapest .
