Drum Connection

Drum Connection (also abbreviated as DC ) is a German drum ensemble .

The group was founded in 1995 by Max van der Rose and first appeared in the same year at the dance of elements event in Berlin . Since then, Drum Connection has been on the international stage of the club , event and industrial scene.

As an integral part of the Rhythm, Drum & Dance Show , the group toured 13 European countries as part of the DHL Roadshow in 2003 and received the Meeting Business Award 2004 for this . Since 2003 , the Basic Unit of the Drum Connection has consisted of the four drummers Dirk Erchinger, Enno Kuck, Jan Peter Eckelmann and Max van der Rose, who on special occasions are supported by other drummers such as Dog Kessler, Tim Kroker, Chriz Falk, Randy Black, Dave Anania, Benedikt Stehle , David Pätsch, Tim Neuhaus, Kai Schönburg, Florian Reinforce Holoubek to more than 10 drummers. The drummers play in groups such as Front 242 , Micatone , Jazzkantine , Count Basic , Poems for Laila , Primal Fear , Ich + Ich , Blue Man Group and have worked in bands such as Sedoussa, H- Blockx , Rosenstolz , Kruder & Dorfmeister , Subway to Sally , medlz and Vanilla Ninja .

Their club concept consists in the drummers laying their rhythm carpet on the basics of a DJ and thus transforming the music style into a new and independent blend . They play standing behind large drum sets that have been specially designed for them. They played u. a. with DJs and electronic acts like Der Würfler, Jay Dee, Melanie Di Tria , Derb, Talla 2XLC , WestBam , Phynn , Ron van den Beuken , Marco Colado, The Thrillseekers , Sebastian Ingrosso , Martin Solveig , Tom Wax , Marusha .

For some time now, other well-known artists have also been accompanied by the Drum Connection in their work, such as Cascada (UK Tour 2008) and Peter Fox (video “Alles Neu”, 2008).
