Ron van den Beuken (* 10. April 1970 in Horst ) is a Dutch Trance - DJ and - producer . He is also known by the pseudonyms Clokx , The Mystery , Floyd and Shane .
biography
Ron van den Beuken attended the Maastricht Conservatory and Maastricht University , where he studied law. It was there that he discovered an interest in electronic music. After graduating, he began his musical career in 2000. First he released some tracks under different pseudonyms like Unicorn , Zith or The Mystery . With the latter pseudonym he reached two chart positions in the UK single charts .
In 2003 Ron released a cover version of Coldplay's song Clocks under the pseudonym Clokx , which hit the dance charts around the world. With Timeless , the first single he released under his real name, he achieved his breakthrough. His greatest success so far was with the single Sunset , which reached number 22 in the Dutch charts. In 2003 Ron van den Beuken also founded the music label RR Records .
Ron van den Beuken has also produced some successful remixes. He remixed Ferry Corsten , 4 Strings and Blank & Jones , among others .
