Phynn (* 6. December 1984 in Nieuwegein , real name Finne Jager ) is a Dutch Trance - DJ and music producer .

biography

Phynn found electronic dance music in 2000 . Fascinated by the style of music, he explored the possibilities of producing music himself. At a remix contest by Ernesto vs. Bastian was one of three winners and was able to remix the two singles “Stop 9.5” and “Who's The Starter” for the duo. The remix of Stop 9.5 was finally played by Tiësto on his second concert tour Tiësto in Concert and was on the official DVD.

One of his most successful productions was "Lucid", which also received support from Tiësto. On December 3, 2005, he was finally allowed to put on the final act for Tiësto in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam in front of 6,000 people. In March 2007 Phynn was able to put on the main stage of Trance Energy , the world's largest pure trance event with 30,000 visitors. At the age of 22, he is the youngest DJ who has ever been able to play on the main stage.

Phynn released his debut album in November 2008 on the Black Hole Recordings label . The album, called Metamorphosis, contained 12 original productions and included vocals from singers Molly Bancroft and Tiff Lacey .
